Dynamic Video Sales (DVS) allows you to sell additional content โ such as videos, submenus, or external links โ as paid add-ons within a presentation. Viewers can purchase premium content directly inside the presentation, even after it has already been delivered.
1. Sign up for a MediaZilla Growth Plan or Above
To use Dynamic Video Sales, youโll need a Growth plan or higher.
The free trial includes access to all monetization features, but once it expires youโll need to upgrade to continue using DVS.

2. Connect Your Account with Stripe
Before selling add-ons, you must connect your MediaZilla account to Stripe. Payments from customers are deposited directly into your bank account configured through Stripe.
Setup only takes a few minutes.
You donโt need an existing Stripe account to get started.

4. Add Add-Ons to Your Presentation
๐ฅ Video tutorial: Watch here
Dynamic Video Sales works by making certain buttons in the presentation into purchasable add-ons. These can be:
Videos
External links (e.g., raw footage in cloud storage)
Submenus (collections of videos or links)
Until purchased, the content remains locked.

If the add-on content is not yet edited
Most often, youโll want to offer an add-on that isnโt finished yet (e.g., ceremony edit).
In this case:
Upload a short placeholder video to represent it temporarily.
Each add-on must be linked to a unique video (multiple add-on buttons cannot point to the same video).
You can reuse placeholder videos across different projects.
For efficiency, see: How do I streamline my Dynamic Video Sales workflow?
If the add-on is ready
If the video is already edited and finalized, simply upload it and add it to the menu like normal.
If the add-on is an external link
Create a link button pointing to the cloud folder or URL.

If the add-on is a submenu
Create a submenu and add the scenes, links, or videos to it.

5. Configure Your Add-Ons
Once your add-ons or placeholders are in the menu, configure their details:
Hover over the button in the Presentation Editor and click the settings icon.
โEnable Make this button a paid add-on.
โA new Dynamic Video Sales tab will appear, where you can configure:
Add-on Menu Title โ The title that appears above the add-on list. Defaults to โPurchase Add-ons.โ
Currency โ Select from supported currencies. Your choice becomes the default for future add-ons.
Title โ The title shown in the add-on list. Defaults to the button name but can be customized (e.g., button name: Ceremony, add-on title: Full Multi-Cam Ceremony).
Description โ Add sales details and set expectations. If using placeholders, specify delivery time (e.g., โFull-length multi-camera edit. Delivered within 2 weeks of purchase.โ).
Price โ The amount charged to the customer. Stripe fees and MediaZilla commission (if applicable) are deducted.
Preview Video โ An optional teaser video that plays when the add-on is selected. This can dramatically increase sales. If none is provided, the poster frame is shown.

6. Preview the Client Experience
You can preview the add-on purchase flow before publishing:
From the Presentation View screen, click the $ icon in the left panel, then open the Dynamic Video Sales tab.
From the Presentation Editor, click the $ icon in the top-right corner.
Click the Preview button at the bottom.
This preview simulates the client experience after a purchase (content unlocks immediately) but does not show the Stripe checkout screen.
