Updated over 3 weeks ago

MediaZilla provides multiple ways to deliver and share your videos and presentations. Each method offers different benefits in terms of security, convenience, and monetization.

1. Email Delivery

  • Best for secure, private delivery to specific people.

  • Recipients accept the delivery into their own free MediaZilla account.

  • Grants lifetime access and the ability to watch via the MediaZilla apps for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Google TV and Amazon Fire TV.

  • Monetization with Dynamic Video Sales (DVS) is supported when viewers access via their account.

  • Permissions can include:

    • View only

    • Download

    • Can deliver to others (allows redistribution via Email Delivery)

2. Share Link

  • Best for quick access in a browser without requiring an account.

  • Can be set as Public, Password-Protected, or Private (disabled).

  • Works well for broad distribution, but does not provide lifetime access or support viewing in the apps.

  • Monetization with Dynamic Video Sales (DVS) is supported when viewers access via a Share Link.

3. Embedding

  • Embed a video or presentation directly on your website.

  • Supports platforms like Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and more.

  • Embeds can be made responsive and autoplay-enabled.

  • Works with monetized content (Paywall or DVS), but viewers must sign in or purchase to unlock.

4. Offline Presentations

  • Best for physical or offline distribution (e.g., USB drives).

  • Presentations are exported as desktop apps for Windows or MacOS.

  • No internet required once exported, but monetization features like Paywalls and Dynamic Video Sales are not supported offline.

Choosing the Right Method

  • For secure client delivery with full control: Use Email Delivery.

  • For social media or quick public access: Use a Share Link.

  • For showcasing content on your own website: Use Embedding.

  • For offline access or physical distribution: Use Offline Presentations.

  • For monetization:

    • Use Paywalls when selling access to entire videos or presentations.

    • Use Dynamic Video Sales (DVS) to sell add-ons within a presentation.
