If you notice missing audio during playback, the cause usually falls into one of two categories:
1. Audio Drops Out Completely After a Certain Point
If your audio cuts out from a specific point in the video until the very end, the video file itself may be corrupted. This usually happens during export from your editing program.
Fix:
Re-export the video from your editing program and upload it again to MediaZilla using the Replace Video feature.

2. Audio Missing Only in Certain Sections (Phase Cancellation)
If audio disappears only in certain parts of the video — for example, vocals are missing while music is still audible — the issue is usually phase cancellation.
This happens when a mono audio source (like a single microphone) is placed into the left and right stereo channels with opposite phases. On some devices (especially older phones and laptops that downmix audio to mono), those signals cancel each other out, making parts of your audio disappear.
Fix:
In your video editing timeline, select the affected audio track(s).
Apply a “Fill Left” or “Fill Right” audio effect to correct the phase alignment.
Re-export the video.
Use the Replace Video feature in MediaZilla to update the file without affecting your project.
