How can I tell if a client accepted their Email Delivery?

Track Email Delivery status to see when clients accept, view, or redistribute your MediaZilla projects.

You can track the status of your Email Deliveries directly from the Access section, just below the Email Delivery settings for a video or presentation.


Understanding Delivery Status

Each recipient will show a status:

  • Queued → The delivery is scheduled but not yet sent.

  • Sent → The email has been successfully sent to the recipient.

  • Received → The recipient has created their free MediaZilla account (or signed into an existing one) and taken possession of the video or presentation.

  • Error → There was an issue sending the email (e.g., invalid address).


Viewing Timestamps

Hover over the status of a recipient to see the exact timestamp of when the status changed.

  • This allows you to know when the delivery was sent.

  • If marked as Received, the timestamp also tells you when the client accepted the delivery and first accessed the project.


Tracking Distribution

If you granted the recipient “Can Deliver to Others” permission, hovering over their status will also show how many people they have re-delivered the content to.
