How do I embed MediaZilla videos or presentations on my website?

Updated this week

You can embed any video or presentation from MediaZilla directly on your website using the Share Link & Embed settings or by copying the embed code straight from the dashboard.

Accessing the Embed Code

There are two ways to copy the embed code:

  • From the dashboard tile menu

    1. Hover over the video or presentation in your dashboard.

    2. Click the three dots in the lower-right corner.

    3. Select Copy Link → Copy Embed Code.

      • This copies whichever embed option you last used (fixed or responsive) from the Share Link & Embed screen.

  • From the Share Link & Embed screen

    1. From the same tile menu, click Embed.

    2. This opens the Share Link & Embed screen, where you can:

      • Copy the embed code.

      • Switch between Responsive and Fixed size.

      • If using Fixed size, adjust resolution before copying.

      • Copy the QR code for easy sharing on printed materials or programs.

Privacy Settings

  1. Private: Content can still be embedded, but only viewers who already have access in their MediaZilla account (via Email Delivery, company role, or purchase) and are signed in will be able to view it.

  2. Password protected: Anyone viewing the embed can view the content after entering the password.

  3. Public: Anyone can view without restrictions.

Responsive vs. Fixed Size

  • Responsive (recommended): Automatically adjusts to fit the available space on your webpage. Prevents the video or presentation from extending outside the viewable area.

  • Fixed size: Lets you specify exact width and height in pixels.

You can switch between Responsive and Fixed size above the embed code before copying it.

Platform Differences

  • Some website builders (like Squarespace) handle responsiveness automatically.

  • Others (like Wix or WordPress) may require you to paste the full HTML code.

Tip: You can also copy the QR code for your Share Link directly from the same settings page—great for printed materials or event programs.
