The Replace Video feature lets you update an existing video with a newer version while keeping the same analytics, share link, and presentation references.
Why Use Replace Video?
Keeps the same share link — no need to redeliver.
Retains viewer analytics for the video.
Updates across all presentations where the video is used.
Saves time compared to manually swapping videos in each button or presentation.
👉 Note: Uploading a replacement does use upload quota, since it is a new upload.
How to Replace a Standalone Video
In your dashboard, locate the video you want to replace.
Click the three dots (⋮) on the video tile to open the context menu.
Select Replace Video.
Choose the new file from your device.
The new version will automatically take the place of the old one everywhere it was used.
How to Replace a Video in a Presentation
There are two ways to update a video in a presentation:
Method 1: Replace the Entire Video in Your Account (Recommended)
Use the Replace Video option in your dashboard (as described above).
This updates the video everywhere it’s used, including in all presentations.
Method 2: Change the Video in Button Settings (Alternative)
If you uploaded the new version separately (without using Replace Video):
Open the presentation editor.
In the left-side panel, under Navigation, select a button linked to the old video.
Choose Change Video and select the new version.
(Optional) Keep the checkbox Apply change to all buttons referencing the same video selected to update every instance of that video within the same presentation.
Click OK to save.
Best Practice for Client Revisions
When sharing draft versions with clients:
Export drafts in a lower bitrate (e.g., 3–4 Mbps HEVC at 720p or 1080p) to conserve quota.
After client approval, use Replace Video to swap in the final high-quality export.
This way, you don’t need to redeliver or resend links — the client automatically sees the updated version.
