What happens if my uploads exceed my plan limit?

If you exceed your annual quota, approve additional quota or upgrade your plan.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

All MediaZilla plans include an annual upload quota. This is the total amount of content you can upload each year under your membership plan.

Exceeding Your Quota

If you reach your plan’s annual upload quota:

  • You will receive a notification if an upload would exceed your quota and you haven’t approved additional quota yet.

  • From that notification, you can go directly to the Upgrade Plan page to approve additional quota.

  • Until you approve additional quota or upgrade your plan, the upload will not complete.

How to Continue Uploading

  • Approve Additional Quota:

    • In the Billing Overview or Upgrade Plan page, you can approve additional quota usage.

    • Approval is only required once per annual membership cycle.

    • Once approved, you’ll be billed automatically for any additional quota you use (no prepayment required).

  • Upgrade Your Plan:

    • Move to a higher-tier plan that includes a larger annual upload quota.

    • Upgrading provides immediate access to the higher quota.

Important Notes

  • Replacing videos also counts toward your annual upload quota (because all uploads are counted, not based on storage).

  • Delivering or downloading content does not use quota.
