Adding Videos to a Presentation

Learn how to add and customize videos in your MediaZilla presentations, including start times, thumbnails, and monetization.

Updated yesterday

Once a video has been uploaded and finished processing, you can add it to any presentation menu to make it accessible to viewers.

Adding Videos to a Menu

  1. In the Presentation Editor, click the “Video” button in the top bar.

  2. Use the selection window to choose one or more videos from your library.

    • Use the search bar at the top to quickly find a specific video.

    • To add all videos from a project at once, select the project instead of individual files.

  3. Click “OK” to add the videos.

The videos will appear as new buttons on your current menu.

Customizing the Video Buttons

  • Button Titles: Click on the button text to rename it.

  • Start Time: Open the button’s settings to set a custom start time (hh:mm:ss:ff) for the video.

  • Thumbnails: Configure the thumbnail from the button’s settings—upload a custom image, use the current frame, or reset to default.

  • Monetization (Growth and above): Video buttons can be toggled into paid add-ons. Once enabled, you can configure pricing, descriptions, and preview videos in the Dynamic Video Sales tab.

Tip: Use the Scenes feature (Growth plans and above) to quickly generate chapter menus from embedded or imported chapters, instead of manually setting start times for each button.
