Getting Started with Presentations

Learn how to create and edit MediaZilla presentations, add videos, customize menus with Style Presets, and publish to share.

Updated this week

Presentations allow you to combine one or more videos into a customizable, interactive menu for your viewers. You can create a new presentation from scratch or edit an existing one at any time.

Creating a Presentation

  1. Open or Create a Project

    • Navigate into an existing project from your dashboard, or create a new project.

  2. Create the Presentation

    • Click Create Presentation.

    • Enter a title and (optional) description.

    • Choose a design style from the available Style Presets, or use the default.

    • Click Create.

  3. Add Videos

    • By default, all videos in the project are pre-selected to appear in the presentation’s main menu.

    • Adjust your selections, then click OK.

  4. Customize in the Editor

    • The Presentation Editor launches, where you can customize menus, backgrounds, buttons, fonts, colors, and more.

    • Want to save time? Use Style Presets to apply a pre-designed look to your menus.

  5. Publish

    • When you’re satisfied, click Publish in the upper-left corner.

    • Once published, your presentation can be shared, embedded, or delivered just like a video.

💡 You can also create a new presentation by copying an existing one. See: How do I make a copy of a presentation?

Editing an Existing Presentation

You can update a presentation at any time:

  • From the dashboard, click the 3 dots on the presentation tile and select Edit Presentation.

  • Or, click the presentation thumbnail to view it, then click the Edit icon on the left side panel.

This will reopen the Presentation Editor, where you can adjust menus, backgrounds, videos, and other settings.
