Using Style Presets for Presentations

Quickly design stunning presentations with Style Presets. Apply, save, and manage presets across menus. Available on Growth plans+.

Updated this week

Style Presets let you instantly apply a polished design to your presentation menus without configuring every detail manually. They save time, ensure consistency, and help you impress clients right away.

What Are Style Presets?

There are two types of presets:

  • Standard Presets: Pre-built designs included with MediaZilla.

  • Custom Presets: Saved by you from your own design settings (Growth plan and above).

Each preset includes:

  • Backgrounds (image, video, or solid color)

  • Fonts and colors

  • Button styles and positioning

  • Over 50 design settings

Presets do not include:

  • Menu music

  • Menu title text

  • Menu buttons (video, link, or submenu buttons)

  • Submenus

πŸ‘‰ If you need to save entire menu structures, menu buttons, submenus, and even product catalogs for Dynamic Video Sales, use a Presentation Template instead.

Choosing a Preset When Creating a New Presentation

When you first create a presentation, before entering the Presentation Editor, you’ll be asked to Choose a Design Style.

  • Browse small renderings of each preset.

  • Hover or click to reveal three icons:

    • πŸ‘ Preview – View a larger rendering of the preset.

    • βœ… Make Default – Set the preset as your default (only available for presets that are not already the default).

    • πŸ—‘ Delete – Remove a custom preset (Standard presets cannot be deleted, and the default preset cannot be deleted).

Applying a Preset in the Presentation Editor

You can change or apply a style preset at any time from the Design settings:

  1. Open the presentation in the editor.

  2. In the left panel, go to Design β†’ Presets.

  3. Click Select a Preset.

  4. Choose a preset from the window that appears, then click Apply.

πŸ’‘ Apply to All Menus: When applying a preset, you can check the box to apply it across all menus in the presentation. Otherwise, it will only update the currently visible menu.

Saving a Custom Preset (Growth and Above)

If you’ve customized a presentation and want to save it for reuse:

  1. From the Design β†’ Presets section, click Save Settings as Preset.

  2. Enter a name for your new preset.

  3. The preset is saved to your company account, making it available to all users in the company.

Managing Presets

Presets can be managed from both:

  • The Choose a Design Style step when creating a new presentation.

  • The Select a Preset section in the Presentation Editor.

From either place, you can:

  • Make a preset your default (applies automatically when creating new presentations).

  • Delete custom presets (not available for Standard or default presets).
