There are several ways to upload videos to MediaZilla. All uploads use the same Upload screen, where you select a destination project and a source (My Device, Google Drive, or Dropbox).
Upload Methods
1. Drag & Drop (Quick Upload)
From within a project, drag one or more videos directly into the main area of the screen.
The upload will begin automatically
2. Upload Button (Project View)
Open a project in your dashboard.
Click the Upload Video button at the top.
The Upload screen will open with the project already selected as the destination (you can change it if needed).
Choose a source and select your file(s).
3. Upload Button (Upload Manager)
Click the Upload Manager icon (up arrow, upper-right).
In the Upload Manager, click the Upload icon.
The same Upload screen will open. Here you must select a destination project before choosing a source and selecting your file(s).
4. MediaZilla Desktop Upload App
The Desktop Upload App lets you set up watch folders that automatically upload new videos as soon as they’re added.
This is useful for workflows where your editing software exports directly into a designated folder.
When you first connect a watch folder, the app can upload all existing videos in the folder or only new ones added going forward.
