You can watch MediaZilla on your TV using a Chromecast device, a Google TV device, or a TV with Google Cast built in (such as many Sony, TCL, and Hisense models).

Casting from Android Devices
From the MediaZilla App (Recommended)
Open the MediaZilla app and sign in.
Tap the Cast icon in the top-right of the dashboard.
Select your Chromecast or Cast-enabled TV (must be on the same Wi-Fi network).
Browse your library and play a video — it will automatically play on your TV.
👉 Only the video plays on the TV. Menus and navigation stay on your device.
From Chrome Browser on Android
Open the project in Chrome.
Start playing a video.
Tap the Cast icon in the video player.
Select your Chromecast or Cast-enabled TV.
Casting from Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad)
Apple devices can also use Google Cast if you’re in the MediaZilla app:
Open the MediaZilla app and sign in.
Tap the Cast icon in the top-right of the dashboard.
Select your Chromecast or Cast-enabled TV.
👉 Only the video plays on the TV. Menus stay on your device.
Note: Safari and Chrome on iOS do not display the Cast icon. Use the MediaZilla app instead.
Casting from Windows or Mac Computers
Open the project in Google Chrome.
Start playing a video.
Click the Cast icon in the lower-right of the video player.
Select your Chromecast or Cast-enabled TV.
👉 Only the video plays on the TV. Menus remain on your computer.
Troubleshooting Chromecast
Make sure your casting device (phone, tablet, or computer) and your TV/Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart your Chromecast device if it doesn’t appear in the list.
Update to the latest version of the MediaZilla app or Chrome browser.
If you have a Samsung or LG TV, you’ll need to use AirPlay (Apple) or Smart View (Android) instead.
