Filtering, Searching, and Sorting Your Media

Filter, search, and sort your MediaZilla dashboard to quickly find videos or presentations by type, title, date added, or date modified.

Updated this week

MediaZilla provides several tools to help you quickly locate videos and presentations in your dashboard: filters, search, and sorting options.

Filtering by Content Type

Use the filter buttons above the main content section of your dashboard:

  • All – Shows both videos and presentations.

  • Media – Shows only media assets (currently videos).

  • Presentations – Shows only presentations.

Notes:

  • The active filter is underlined.

  • Filters are available in Content View across all projects, when viewing a specific project, and when viewing search results.

  • Filters are not shown in Grid View, since that view only displays project tiles.

Searching by Title

The search bar is located in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

  • In Content View, search will return results from all projects or from the specific project you’re viewing.

  • In Grid View, search works across all projects to help you quickly locate the one you need.

Sorting Your Media

Sorting options are available above the main content section, on the right side next to the filter buttons. You can sort by:

  • Date modified – Last time a video or presentation was edited or updated.

  • Date added – When the content was uploaded or created.

  • Title – Alphabetical order by title.

Sorting can be applied in either ascending (A–Z, oldest–newest) or descending (Z–A, newest–oldest) order.
