    • Select the Format and Preset (see below).

Recommended Settings

Up to Full HD (1920 × 1080)

  • Format: HEVC (H.265) — smaller file sizes, efficient quota use

  • Preset: Match Source – High Bitrate

👉 Note: If you don’t see this preset in the dropdown, click More Presets… at the bottom, search for “HEVC,” and favorite the Match Source – High Bitrate option for quicker access in the future.

👉 Alternate option: H.264 if you need faster export speeds or compatibility with older systems.

4K Resolution (3840 × 2160)

  • Format: HEVC (H.265)

  • Presets:

    • SDR (Standard Dynamic Range): 4K UHD

    • HDR (High Dynamic Range, 10-bit): Choose one that matches your source:

      • HEVC – Match Source – 2020

      • HEVC – Match Source – HLG

      • HEVC – Match Source – PQ

If needed, use More Presets… to find and favorite these options.

Important Notes

  • Resolution: Always use even-numbered width and height values (odd values can cause encoding errors).

  • Frame Rate: Export in the same frame rate you filmed in to avoid playback stutter.

  • Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz.
